Akron 1 ½” and 2 ½” Smoothbore Nozzles

The Akron 1 ½” smoothbore nozzle consists of three basic component parts. The nozzle is a basically a “stack tip” consisting of a shutoff (#1) a 15/16” tip (#2) and a ½” overhaul tip. (#3)

The shutoff consists of the ball valve, bale and housing. The 1 ½” female swivel has NST threads. The 1 ½” male also has NST threads. This shut off can be used with any nozzle tip equipped with 1 ½” NST threads, including fog nozzles.

The 15/16” tip attaches to the The ½” overhaul tip attaches to

1 ½” male threads of the shutoff. The 15/16” tip and is used for

hydraulic overhaul.
