Police probe fire in vacant house
  ENTERPRISE STAFF REPORT
  HIGH POINT
– Officials on Monday were investigating the cause of a fire that broke out inside a vacant house.
  Firefighters responded to 623 S. Elm St. just before 5 a.m. and saw flames and smoke coming from the rear of the house, said Capt. Denita Lynch of the High Point Fire Department.
  A total of 18 fire department personnel helped get the fire under control. No injuries were reported. A damage estimate was not available Monday.
