Motorist,
biker face charges after wreck
A motorcyclist involved in a traffic accident Tuesday morning was
treated and released from High
Point Regional Hospital. According to a police
report, Sammy Luis Lopez, 24, of High Point, was knocked off his motorcycle
when a 1987 Buick driven by Virginia Bullin, 83, of
High Point, collided with it around 10:30 a.m. on Westchester Drive near the
intersection of Royal Oak Avenue. Bullin was cited
for failure to reduce speed, and Lopez was cited for no motorcycle
endorsement, according to the report.
