Firefighter’s name first in United Way car drawing
 ENTERPRISE STAFF REPORT
  HIGH POINT
– A High Point firefighter could win a new vehicle as the United Way of Greater High Point kicks off its annual giveaway program.
Darin Tucker is the first of 10 finalists who will be named.
Tucker’s name was drawn out of those who pledged to donate the “fair share” amount to the United Way for its 2006 fundraising campaign, which kicked off last week.
In early December, each of the 10 finalists will be asked to pick a vehicle key in a drawing.
One of those keys will start a new car.
Vann York Auto Group again will sponsor the giveaway. This year, winners will be able to choose from one of four vehicle models.
This is the fifth consecutive year Vann York has donated a vehicle for the program.
